Zusammenfassung: | The cathode foil for an electrolytic capacitor has a metal porous part, a metal core part connected to the metal porous part, a first main surface in which pores of the metal porous part open, and a coating film covering the metal porous part. The coating film is formed up to a depth of 10% or more of the thickness of the metal porous part in the thickness direction of the metal porous part. The coating film may include a conductive first layer containing a first element and/or a second layer that is an oxide layer containing a second element. As a result, provided is a cathode foil for an electrolytic capacitor, which is capable of achieving excellent characteristics.
