Method for estimating coverage of space of traffic scene

The invention relates to a computer-implemented method for estimating the spatial coverage of a traffic scene, characterized by the following steps: providing different traffic scenes; -classifying and/or clustering the traffic scenes as known traffic scenes or unknown traffic scenes; applying a statistical method to the classified and/or clustered traffic scene in order to estimate a predetermined number of features describing a spatial coverage of the traffic scene; and generating a further different traffic scene or interruption method depending on the number of features.
