A layer of Ga2O3 nanorods is deposited on an FTO conductive glass substrate through a hydrothermal method, FTO serves as an electrode, then the material is placed in a quartz electrolytic cell, and an ultraviolet photoelectric detection chip of a photoelectrochemical structure based on the Ga2O3 nanorods is manufactured. The gallium oxide-based electrochemical photoelectric chip has the advantages that the prepared gallium oxide-based electrochemical photoelectric chip is stable in performance, has a solar blind characteristic on a spectrum of a power grid corona deep ultraviolet band (220nm-280nm), can work with zero power consumption, is high in responsivity and sensitivity and small in dark current, can be applied to the fields of electrical arc alarm, high-voltage line arc and coron
