The method comprises the following steps that firstly, road surface unevenness parameters of a current road surface are calculated according to operation parameters of a controlled automobile; step 2, calculating an equivalent damping coefficient optimization value of the adjustable damping shock absorber according to the road surface unevenness parameter calculated in the step 1; and 3, adjusting the current or electromagnetism of a driving control unit of the adjustable damping shock absorber according to the equivalent damping coefficient optimization value, calculated in the step 2, of the adjustable damping shock absorber.
