Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses novel melanin derived from radiation-type rhizobium and application of the novel melanin, and belongs to the technical field of biological engineering. The invention provides a novel melanin fermentation preparation method, a novel melanin characterization method and a novel melanin preparation method, which are characterized in that a novel water-insoluble bacterial melanin is separated and purified from a radioactive rhizobium fermentation culture by adopting a hot acid-alkali method treatment and adopting the technical scheme provided by the invention; wherein the yield of extracellular melanin is 7.46 +/-0.17 g/L and reaches a relatively high level; meanwhile, the measured molecular weight of the melanin is 686Da, and the molecular formula of the melanin is (C34H30N4O12).
