Further, the system has a computing unit in communication with a drive computing unit of the drive assembly. The computing unit is configured to detect an actual operating state of the drive assembly and a machine or system environment thereof, and to select at least one service operating state for the drive assembly according to the detected actual operating state. The system also includes a distributed computing system in communication with a drive computing unit of the drive component configured to trigger execution of management of the drive component in accordance with a selected service operating state of the drive component.
