Zusammenfassung:	The purpose of the present invention is to reduce breakage of a film in a stretching device of a stenter at a portion where the film is held. The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a film roll, which is characterized in that a dried film roll is manufactured by using a stenter stretching device. The manufacturing method includes a step of unwinding a film from a raw material film roll, a step of transporting the unwound film, a step of holding and drying both end portions of the film parallel to the transport direction of the film, a step of loosening the holding portion after drying, and a step of winding the film to obtain a dried film roll, the holding portion being formed by a base and a holding portion.
