Zusammenfassung:A rotor for an electric motor is disclosed, the rotor having a rotor shaft and a rotor core mounted on the rotor shaft, the rotor core having a plurality of core laminations arranged along an axis of the rotor core. Each core lamination comprises a central contour hole which is penetrated by the rotor shaft and which comprises at least two axially extending ridges and at least two cutouts positioned between the ridges, in order to form a press-fit of the core laminations on the rotor shaft, the central contour hole is formed in the central contour hole.
