Provided are: a resin composition which has excellent flowability and is capable of producing a molded article that is less warped and/or deformed, while being less mixed with foreign matter; and a connector molded from the resin composition. A resin composition containing (A) a wholly aromatic polyester, (B) a fibrous filler, and (C) a plate-shaped filler, the resin composition (A) containing constituent units (I)-(IV) as essential constituent components, the content of constituent units (I), (II), (III), and (IV) being in a predetermined mol% range with respect to all constituent units, the difference between the content of constituent unit (III) and the content of constituent unit (IV) being 0.150 mol% or less, and the content of constituent units (IV) being 0.55 mol% or less.
