According to the method, a saturation compensation model is constructed through a geometric characteristic consistency relationship between high and low gain channels of a satellite-borne laser altimeter, and the method comprises the following steps: carrying out waveform decomposition on laser altimetry full-waveform data to obtain single-crest echo data; extracting laser waveform characteristic parameters, wherein the waveform characteristic parameters comprise peak time and peak intensity; laser ranging time consistency and waveform feature consistency between high and low gain channels of the satellite-borne laser altimeter are utilized to construct a laser waveform compensation model; and laser pulse flight time delay compensation and peak intensity compensation are performed on the saturated waveform through the laser waveform compensation model, so that the energy characteristics and geometric |
