A system for covering a sound ring assembly in an automotive vehicle is provided. The system includes a ring cover having a central bore, a plurality of molded slides circularly arranged on a first side of the ring cover, a plurality of snap arms and a plurality of guide tabs positioned on a second side of the ring cover wherein the plurality of guide tabs and the plurality of snap arms are concentrically arranged and the snap arms form an outer circle and the guide tabs form an inner circle, and each guide lug in the plurality of guide lugs is positioned right behind a corresponding clamping arm in the plurality of clamping arms.
