Zusammenfassung:The invention belongs to the technical field of organic synthesis, and particularly discloses a production process for synthesizing chloromethane from gaseous hydrogen chloride, which comprises the following steps of: putting a modified carbon aerogel catalyst into a reaction device, injecting hydrogen chloride gas in proportion, raising the modified carbon aerogel catalyst by continuously injecting gasified methanol, and reacting to obtain chloromethane. Meanwhile, the temperature in the furnace is increased to reaction temperature; extracting the product from a gas outlet of the reaction device, condensing, spraying, washing with alkali, drying, and compressing and condensing to obtain chloromethane; according to the invention, the catalyst is carried by the carbon aerogel with lower density, and the modified carbon aerogel catalyst is continuously raised through the injected gaseous hydrogen chloride and methanol, so that the modified carbon aerogel catalyst is dispersed in the atmosphere in the gas-phase
