Zusammenfassung:Spherical fertilizer granules wherein each contains, relative to the total weight of the granules, the following amounts of magnesium, sulfate and urea: urea in an amount of 20.0-38.0 wt%, calculated as nitrogen element; magnesium in an amount of 1.5-9.5 wt% calculated as a magnesium element; and a sulfate in an amount of 2.7-12.0 wt%, calculated as elemental sulfur; wherein at least a portion of the magnesium, urea and sulfate are present in the form of at least one crystalline phase of the formula MgSO4 * 6NH2-C (= O)-NH2 * 0.5 H2O (I) and the formula MgSO4 * 4NH2-C (= O)-NH2 * H2O (II); wherein in each case 1-20 wt%, in particular 3-18 wt%, in particular 5-15 wt%, of magnesium contained in the fertilizer granules is present in the form of a water-insoluble magnesium salt, calculated as magnesium element.
