Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a video processing system for performing compression processing on a video by using a graphics processing unit (GPU), and the video processing system may comprise: a transmission device section for grouping frames of the compressed video into a number capable of parallel processing, dividing each of the plurality of grouped frames into a plurality of blocks, and transmitting the plurality of blocks to the video processing device section; performing parallel compression processing on the plurality of divided blocks and transmitting the compressed blocks; and a reception device unit that receives and decompresses the compressed video data transmitted from the transmission device unit, and displays a streaming video. 本发明涉及视频处理系统及方法,通过利用图形处理器(GPU,graphics processing unit)对视频进行压缩处理的视频处理系统,其可包括:发送装置部,将压缩的视频的帧分组为能够进行并行处理的数量,将分组的多个帧分别分割为多个块,对分割的上述多个块进行并行压缩处理并发送;以及接收装置部,接收从上述发送装置部发送的压缩视频数据并对其进行解压,用于显示流式视频。
