Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses an automatic control method and system for a hot-rolled plate blank. The method comprises the steps that the component requirement of an order steel coil is obtained; whether stock slabs completely meeting the component requirements of the order steel coils exist or not is searched in a slab database; if the stock plate blanks completely meeting the component requirements of the order steel coil do not exist, whether a target transition plate blank exists in the plate blank database or not is searched; the difference between the plate blank components of the target transition plate blank and the component requirement of the order steel coil is smaller than a preset threshold value, and the plate blank performance of the rolled target transition plate blank meets the performance requirement of the order steel coil; if the target transition plate blank exists, a hot rolling process system is determined based on the target transition plate blank and the performance requirements of the ord
