The embodiment of the invention provides a method for accessing a storage system, electronic equipment and a computer program product. The method includes determining a source logical storage space from a second set of logical storage spaces associated with a second protocol in accordance with detecting that a first host configured to access the storage system using the first protocol is connected to the storage system. The second protocol is different from the first protocol. The method also includes determining a target logical storage space to which the source logical storage space is mapped from a first set of logical storage spaces associated with the first protocol. The method further includes allocating the target logical storage space to the first host such that the first host accesses the storage system via the target logical storage space.
