Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a pulse offset protection method for detecting an inter-phase short circuit in a driver for controlling a motor, in which the driver supplies an output voltage to the motor, and in which a timing at which a short circuit detection function is performed is selected to minimize interference with the output voltage of the driver. The invention also relates to a drive for controlling an electric motor, comprising a control for generating an output signal and an output connectable to the electric motor.
