This elastic wave device is provided with: a piezoelectric film; and a first resonator and a second resonator located on the upper surface of the piezoelectric film and including an IDT electrode, the elastic wave device using a plate wave. The thickness of the piezoelectric film is less than twice the period of the electrode fingers of the IDT electrode.
