The device comprises a cyanide-containing electroplating wastewater complex breaking system, a nickel-containing electroplating wastewater complex breaking system and a nickel removal system. The cyanide-containing electroplating wastewater complex breaking system comprises an adjusting tank, an active chlorine electrolysis device and a flocculation sedimentation tank which are connected in sequence. The nickel-containing electroplating wastewater complex breaking system comprises a regulating tank, an oxidation tank and a flocculation sedimentation tank which are connected in sequence. Two streams of waste liquid generated by the cyanide-containing electroplating wastewater complex breaking system and the nickel-containing electroplating wastewater complex breaking system are mixed and enter the nickel removal system for precipitation and nickel removal.
