Method for purifying monoclonal antibodies

A method for purifying a liquid feedstock comprising monoclonal antibodies and impurities, said method comprising passing said liquid feedstock through an instrument comprising at least two processing units, each such unit producing a product stream comprising purified monoclonal antibodies and optionally a waste stream comprising at least some of said impurities, wherein each unit comprises prescribed components (i) to (v) comprising a multi-inlet flow controller comprising two or more variable flow inlet valves for in situ production of a bioprocessing liquid by combining at least two liquids in a desired ratio. One unit performs chromatography and the other performs virus inactivation.
