A connector system includes a cover having a front surface, a rear surface, and two opposing sides, the cover including a front opening, a bottom opening, a middle portion disposed within the front opening and including: a front portion having a plurality of apertures formed therein; an upper wall and a lower wall that help define an upper port and a lower port in the cover, the lower wall including an aperture formed therein such that the middle portion communicates with the lower port; a connector positioned in the cover and including a first row of cantilevered contacts in the upper port and a second row of cantilevered contacts in the lower port; a bias heat sink disposed in the interior space of the middle portion and extending through the hole into the lower port, the bias heat sink including a plurality of fins; the cover includes apertures on both sides such that, in operation, air can flow into the aperture on one of the two sides, through the fin, and out of the aperture on the other of the two side
