The STV wheel type tracked robot comprises a trolley body, a driving mechanism, a driven mechanism, a double-track conveying mechanism and a controller. The driving mechanism comprises a first wheel box, a driving wheel installed in the first wheel box, a walking driving motor and a first rotating assembly arranged between the first wheel box and the trolley body. The driven mechanism comprises a second wheel box, a driven wheel installed in the second wheel box and a self-adaptive steering adjusting assembly connected with the second wheel box and the trolley body.
