Access unit and management segment memory operations

The invention relates to access units and management fragment memory operations. A system is provided that includes a first memory component having a particular access size associated with performing a memory operation; a second memory component storing a logical-to-physical data structure, entries of the data structure mapping management segments to respective physical locations in the memory component, where each management segment corresponds to an aggregated plurality of logical access units having the particular access size; and a processing device operably coupled to the memory component.
