Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to the technical field of plant molecular genetic engineering, in particular to application of a strawberry MYB transcription factor FaMYB5 gene, by cloning the strawberry MYB transcription factor FaMYB5 gene and an expression vector and host bacteria containing the FaMYB5 gene, the FaMYB5 gene can be applied to regulation and control of citric acid accumulation in strawberry fruits and expression of CS1 and GAD genes, and the strawberry MYB transcription factor FaMYB5 gene is obtained. The FaMYB5 is overexpressed in strawberries to promote citric acid metabolism of strawberry fruits, meanwhile, the expression quantity of a main gene CS1 for citric acid synthesis is increased, and the expression quantity of a degradation gene GAD is obviously reduced.
