Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a low-temperature cationic dyeable polyester composition and a preparation method thereof. The cationic dyeable polyester composition is mainly composed of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid unit, an aliphatic dibasic acid or an esterified derivative thereof and an ethylene glycol unit. An esterification liquid obtained by reacting a sulfonate compound and ethylene glycol, aliphatic dibasic acid or an esterification derivative thereof and an alkali metal compound are added at any stage before the polymerization reaction is finished, and the esterification reaction rate of the esterification liquid is 95% or above. The polyester composition has the advantages of low insoluble compound content, low-temperature dyeing, few foreign matters in polyester, good spinnability, less filter pressure rise in the spinning process, long filter screen replacement period and low cost.
