System and method for floating valve seat plate

A valve seat plate is disclosed that maintains constant contact and load on a gate to maintain a sealing surface protected. The valve seat plate has a dynamic valve seat function that is live-loaded during stroke and high temperature changes to follow the gate surface. The valve maintains a positive barrier between the valve body vapor chamber and the process fluid passing through the port.
