METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MAPPING UU RADIO BEARER TO PC5 RADIO LINK CONTROL BEARER

Methods and apparatus for Uu radio bearer to sidelink radio link control mapping are disclosed. In one embodiment, the method comprises a network node transmitting a radio resource control message to a relay user equipment, where the radio resource control message comprises first information indicating a mapping representing an association between a Uu radio bearer and a sidelink radio link control bearer, and wherein the radio resource control message further comprises second information identifying the remote user equipment associated with the mapping.
