Remote control device and lighting fixture

The invention provides a remote control device and a lighting fixture. A wireless signal transmitted from a remote controller is transmitted as an infrared signal from an infrared signal transmission device equipped on a lighting fixture adapter, so that the lighting fixture and an external device can be simply operated. The remote control device comprises a power supply part arranged on a ceiling; a lighting fixture adapter (10) which is provided with a hook fitting (15) that is detachably mounted; an AC power supply output cable (40) connected to the hook fitting and extending from the base plate (13) of the luminaire adapter; a DC power supply device (20) that converts AC power supplied from the power supply unit into DC power; an infrared signal transmission device (22) that receives a signal transmitted from the remote controller and has an infrared signal transmission unit (23) that transmits an infrared signal to the lighting fixture attached to the lighting fixture adapter and to the external device;
