Zusammenfassung:The liquid crystal aligning agent contains a polymer (A) having a structural unit derived from at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of a compound represented by formula (1) and a compound represented by formula (2). In the formula, R1 and R2 represent a ring structure in which one of R1 and R2 is a monovalent group having a polymerizable group and the other is a hydrogen atom or a monovalent organic group, or R1 and R2 are bonded to each other and together with a nitrogen atom to which R1 and R2 are bonded. Wherein the ring structure has a polymerizable carbon-carbon unsaturated bond.
