The method comprises the following steps: constructing a water balance diagram of a water consumption unit and storing the water balance diagram in a water balance automatic prediction and test system; acquiring original water flow data of each pipeline and equipment in real time; analyzing, checking and calculating the collected original data; and water balance automatic prediction is carried out according to data analysis verification and calculation results. The water balance automatic test and prediction system comprises a data acquisition layer, a data transmission layer, a data storage layer, an analysis processing layer and an application layer.
