Zusammenfassung:A method is disclosed for determining the volume of concrete mix load in a mixer drum based on the use of entry and exit sensor probes that are submerged into and exit from concrete during drum rotation and providing data to a processor for calculating the volume based on the data. To provide concavo, convexity, and/or cascade surface flow effects that may hinder accurate determination of concrete load volume, the processor may be configured to compare rheology of concrete load and/or original batch volume monitored during drum rotation. Calibration of load volume values, which is very useful for monitoring or admixture dose purposes, may be done based on comparing real-time data to historical data collected over time and stored in processor-accessible memory.
