The label aggregation method is executed in a computing device and comprises the steps that when a label is newly added in a browser, whether label aggregation needs to be carried out or not is detected; and if yes, acquiring URLs of all labels in the browser. Then, the URLs of all the labels are analyzed, and domain names and virtual directories corresponding to all the labels are obtained; and finally, based on the domain name and the virtual directory corresponding to each tag, carrying out tag aggregation. According to the label aggregation method, under the condition that too many label pages are opened, the problem that the label cannot fully display the key information of the label page corresponding to the label due to the fact that the length of the label is compressed can be effectively avoided, so that the time for positioning the target label page by a user can be shortened, and the user experien
