A specific embodiment of the method comprises the steps of receiving a speed limit query request transmitted by a target vehicle, obtaining a pre-stored speed limit image corresponding to a road section after obtaining the current road section and lane information of the target vehicle, and finally, sending the speed limit query request to the target vehicle according to the pre-stored speed limit image which comprises a speed limit identifier of each lane in the road section. And extracting target speed limit information corresponding to the lane information from the pre-stored speed limit image, and feeding back the target speed limit information to the target vehicle.
