According to the method, the TD24 of the tar after rectification and heavy component removal of the 3-methyl-3-butene-1-alcohol is improved, the safety of rectification operation is enhanced, meanwhile, the content of formaldehyde in the recovered 3-methyl-3-butene-1-alcohol is reduced, and the separation yield of the 3-methyl-3-butene-1-alcohol is improved.
