Zusammenfassung: | A method for controlling the total injection amount per duty cycle in multiple injections of a fuel injector of an internal combustion engine is described. In the method, an injection quantity difference is determined step by step from a single injection pulse to a single injection pulse and is transmitted to the next single injection pulse. The remaining injection quantity difference in the last but one single injection pulse is passed to the last single injection pulse to obtain a total injection quantity with an improved allowable error.
