Sternum ascender device

A sternum lifter device is disclosed. The sternum lifter may include a panel, a support beam traversing the panel, and a post coupled to a proximal end of the panel. The device may also include an indicator handle coupled to the sternum lifter, an actuator transmission pivotally coupled to the indicator handle, and a housing movably coupled to the actuator transmission. The sternum lifter device may have an actuator transmission that includes a linear rack.
