The modification method comprises the following steps: uniformly stirring a silicon-based negative electrode material, a conductive agent, a binder and a modification additive in a certain mass ratio with a proper amount of a solvent, adding a certain amount of a catalyst, and fully reacting to form silicon-based negative electrode material slurry; and then uniformly coating the surface of a copper foil with the silicon-based negative pole piece, and respectively drying for 10-80 minutes at 50-80 DEG C and drying for 8-20 hours in vacuum at 100-150 DEG C to obtain the silicon-based negative pole piece.
