Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a preparation process of m-tert-butylphenol and a synthesis method of etoxazole. Firstly, the invention discloses a preparation process of m-tert-butylphenol, and the preparation process comprises the following process steps: S1, material mixing: 3, 5-di-tert-butylphenol and a solid superacid catalyst are mixed and uniformly stirred to obtain a mixed system; s2, heating reaction: heating the mixed system in the step S1 to 150-240 DEG C for reaction, and evaporating phenol and isobutene generated in the reaction process to obtain a reaction system; and S3, separation: separating and purifying the reaction system in the step S2 to obtain the final product m-tert-butylphenol. The invention further discloses a synthesis method of etoxazole. The m-tert-butylphenol prepared by the preparation process of the m-tert-butylphenol is used as a raw material.
