Conveyor belt with articulated chain provided with balls

A conveyor belt is described that includes a plurality of modules arranged consecutively and hinged to each other. Each module includes a middle portion, a front side, a rear side, a first lateral side, and a second lateral side. A first projection provided with a respective first hole aligned along a single axis extends on the front side, and a second projection provided with a respective second hole extends on the rear side in an opposite direction relative to the first projection. The projections have mating profiles to allow the connecting pins to be inserted between adjacent modules. Each module also includes a housing for a respective ball such that each ball protrudes through a respective circular opening of the housing. Each housing seat is internally provided with a plurality of ribs. The ratio of the diameter of at least one circumferential portion of the housing to the diameter of the respective ball is between 0.8 and 0.6, while at least a portion of the rib is below, near the lower surface, provi
