Zusammenfassung: | A structural gravity sensor enclosure for use in a picking robotic system is disclosed that can prevent damage to the sensor due to torsion, bending, and overload when the robotic system performs picking and placement tasks. The structural gravity sensor housing includes a base, an inner tube accommodating a gravity sensor, and a roller sleeve. The base includes a compression spring coupled to a first portion of the gravity sensor. The roller sleeve includes a plurality of roller bearings in contact with the inner tube. The design only allows the inner tube to freely slide along the axis of the roller sleeve within a preset limit range without rotating or translating in the direction outside the axis of the roller sleeve.
