[Technical means for solving the problem] This floating structure is obtained by transforming a liquefied gas transport ship including a hull section on which a film-type or self-supporting prismatic tank is mounted, and is provided with: the hull section; an extending part which is fixed to the hull part and extends to at least one side in the width direction of the hull part; and the gas treatment equipment is configured on the extending part, and the extending part and the gas treatment equipment are added parts during transformation.
