Zusammenfassung: | A computer-implemented method of electronically mining medical and scientific data sets to determine an order of evidence levels indicative of an association between two entities is disclosed. The method includes receiving a representation of a pair of entities, performing a first data mining on one or more unstructured data sets to generate one or more first scores, each first score representing a degree of association between entities of the pair of entities, and performing a second data mining on the one or more structured data sets to generate one or more second scores, each second score representing a degree of association between entities of the entity pair. The method further includes determining, using the classifier, a predictive ranking for the pair of entities using the one or more first scores and the one or more second scores, and providing the predictive ranking to the user as an indication of a strength of evidence of an association between the entities of the pair of entities.
