Method and system for synchronous communication

Synchronous communication between a sender of a message containing a question and recipient (s) includes receiving an indication that the message is sent from the sender via a user interface of a first application and no response to the question is received within a predetermined time; monitoring the digital positions of the sender and the receiver; determining whether at least one of the sender and the recipients is using a second application at the same time; and when it is determined that at least one of the sender and the recipient is using the second application at the same time, sending the second application to the sender.
