An elevator car of the elevator can ascend and descend relative to a machine frame and move to a flat layer, the elevator anti-settling device comprises a bearing assembly installed on the elevator car and a locking piece installed on the machine frame, and the locking piece is installed at the position, corresponding to the flat layer, of the machine frame. The bearing assembly comprises a driving part and a bearing part, the driving part is fixed to the lift car, the bearing part is movably installed on the lift car and can stretch out of or retract into the lift car, and the driving part can drive the bearing part to act so that the bearing part can stretch out of the lift car and move to the position above the locking part; or the elevator car retracts and is separated from the upper part of the locking piece. According to the elevator, the bearing piece capable of stretching relative to the elevator car is matched with the locking piece on the rack to support the elevator car during leveling, safety and
