Heavy vehicle brake control device and method

A heavy vehicle brake control method comprises the following steps that two sets of electro-pneumatic proportional valve control modules are started to execute braking of a front axle brake circuit and a rear axle brake circuit; detecting whether the two groups of electro-pneumatic proportional valve control modules fail or not in the brake execution process; and if the judgment is failed, switching to a brake pedal cable braking module, and controlling a brake pedal to execute braking by the brake pedal cable braking module. In addition, the invention also provides a heavy vehicle brake control device. 一种重型车辆刹车控制方法，包括以下步骤：启动二组电空比例阀控制模块以执行一前轴制动回路与一后轴制动回路的刹车；于执行刹车过程中，侦测二组电空比例阀控制模块是否失效；若判断失效，切换至刹车踏板拉索制动模块，刹车踏板拉索制动模块控制刹车踏板以执行刹车。此外，一种重型车辆刹车控制装置亦被提出。
