Zusammenfassung: | A spectrometer (100) for measuring a plurality of frequency components of light from a sample includes an optical waveguide (108) having an entrance face and an exit face. The surface area of the exit surface is larger than that of the incident surface. The optical waveguide (108) allows light from a sample (106) to enter through an incident surface (105) and distributes the light allowed to enter through an exit surface (107). A spatially correlated filter (112) is disposed near the exit surface for filtering the distributed light. A plurality of photodetectors (114) is disposed proximate to the optical filter for receiving the filtered light. The distributed light may be distributed at an angle of no more than 10 degrees. A second optical waveguide (104) may send light from the light source to the sample. The first optical waveguide, the second optical waveguide, the filter, and the photodetector may be disposed parallel to each other in a housing (116).
