Zusammenfassung:Class IV pressure vessels have improved permeate gas management. The pressure vessel includes an inner polymeric liner, a gas permeable layer disposed on the liner, and an outer composite shell structure disposed on the gas permeable layer. The gas permeable layer is gas permeable, liquid impermeable, and provides a flow path for gas collected by the gas permeable layer that permeates the liner wall. The outer composite shell is formed of one or more layers of fibers of a first fiber type and a resin. Gas permeating from the interior space of the liner is received by the gas permeable layer and directed to a predetermined outlet location on the pressure vessel.
