Olicanol synthase variant A and application thereof

The present invention provides an olive alcohol synthase variant and an engineered microorganism expressing the same for producing olive alcohol and olive alcohol acid, and more specifically, an engineered Escherichia coli wherein the engineered Escherichia coli is modified to express an olive alcohol synthase variant whose mutation compared to its wild type is S56A.
