Zusammenfassung: | The invention provides a ruthenium-based catalyst as well as a preparation method and application thereof, and belongs to the technical field of furfural hydrogenation catalysts. The preparation process of the catalyst comprises the following steps: preparing a copper-magnesium-aluminum salt solution from magnesium salt, aluminum salt and copper salt according to the ratio of 1: 2: (1-3); then, CuMgAl-LDH is prepared through a coprecipitation method; the preparation method comprises the following steps: dispersing nano Ru metal and CuMgAl-LDH in water, and drying in a drying oven to prepare 0.3%-0.7% of Ru-CuMgAl-LDH; and roasting the Ru-CuMgAl-LDH in a muffle furnace, then cooling the Ru-CuMgAl-LDH to the room temperature, and grinding the Ru-CuMgAl-LDH to obtain the powdery Ru-CuMgAl-LDH catalyst. The Ru-CuMgAl-LDO catalyst is used for catalyzing furfural hydrogenation reaction, the furfural hydrogenation conversion rate reaches 99% or above, and the selectivity of tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol exceeds 98%.
