Zusammenfassung: | Systems and architectures for transmitting and receiving collimated beams directly from a photonic chip via an on-chip mirror beamforming device to reduce manufacturing difficulty and optical aberration are disclosed. More specifically, an elliptical or parabolic mirror may be used in a photonic chip to collimate the beam emanating from the waveguide port and further implement techniques such as wavefront error correction and beam steering without moving the components.
